Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry Team Up in Crime Thriller Crime 101 Trailer

Amazon MGM Studios has released the trailer for Crime 101, the upcoming high-stakes crime thriller starring Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo.

Set against the sun-soaked backdrop of Los Angeles, the film follows an elusive thief (Hemsworth) whose string of elaborate heists along the 101 freeway has baffled authorities for years. Planning one final job that could secure his future, he crosses paths with a disillusioned insurance broker (Berry) at a breaking point in her own life. As their uneasy alliance forms, a relentless detective (Ruffalo) closes in, setting the stage for a tense showdown where loyalties blur and the line between hunter and hunted begins to vanish.

Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella, Crime 101 is written and directed by Bart Layton, best known for American Animals and The Imposter. The film promises Layton’s signature mix of style and psychological depth, weaving crime drama with character-driven storytelling.

The supporting cast includes Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte. The project is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Derrin Schlesinger, Dimitri Doganis, Bart Layton, Shane Salerno, Chris Hemsworth, and Benjamin Grayson.
